As a working photographer for more than 30 years and a parent, I get the craziness of families and the importance of family sessions. Whether it’s a temperamental toddler or a reluctant teen, my superpower is the ability to read the situation and adjust on the spot. That’s what makes a personal session with Catherine Davis Photography a special and positive experience from start to finish.

I begin with a phone call to learn more about you, your family, grad or senior. This initial connection allows me to assess your unique style, be it casual, formal, active or serene, and to suggest the proper session length, location and wardrobe choices.

On photo day, I help everyone bring their best to the time we have together by adjusting the tempo to match whatever that day’s dynamic may be. The resulting images are an authentic reflection of the moment, and, thanks to my years of experience and expertise, they have better lighting and composition than the pictures you might get on your phone.

Promptly after the session, you’ll receive your gallery of jpegs delivered electronically. These are yours to use however you’d like. If you’re interested in professionally printed products or retouching, it’s easy to access these services using the shopping cart function on your gallery.
