As a working photographer for more than 30 years and a parent, I get the craziness of families and the importance of family sessions. Whether it’s a temperamental toddler or a reluctant teen, my superpower is the ability to read the situation and adjust on the spot. That’s what makes a personal session with Catherine Davis Photography a special and positive experience from start to finish.

I begin with a phone call to learn more about you, your family, grad or senior. This initial connection allows me to assess your unique style, be it casual, formal, active or serene, and to suggest the proper session length, location and wardrobe choices.

On photo day, I help everyone bring their best to the time we have together by adjusting the tempo to match whatever that day’s dynamic may be. The resulting images are an authentic reflection of the moment, and, thanks to my years of experience and expertise, they have better lighting and composition than the pictures you might get on your phone.

Promptly after the session, you’ll receive your gallery of jpegs delivered electronically. These are yours to use however you’d like. If you’re interested in professionally printed products or retouching, it’s easy to access these services using the shopping cart function on your gallery.

FAMILY 30

Best if you want a simple, short and sweet portrait solution for one family. We meet at a local park or your home. Be as formal or as casual as you like. For most families, we create a couple of family arrangements, siblings, individuals, and mom & dad. If time allows, we can get mother/daughter, father/son, etc.. Package includes a 30 minute session, online gallery and about 25 images. Mon -Thu $355, Fri- Sun $555

Best if you have one family with young children or an extended family with adult children. This gives us a little more time to capture all of the breakouts for extended families and/or to have some playful moments for one family. Package includes a 60 minute session, online gallery and about 50 images. Mon- Thu $600 Fri - Sun $800 * extended families + $100

Best if you have a large extended family, or have a session plan that needs more time. Package includes a custom session plan, a 90 minute session, about 100 images and a set of 3X3 accordion minis (3 books per set), or a 6X9 Session Book. Mon-Thu $1200 Fri - Sun $1500

Best if you want 2-3 outfits or just a little more time. We meet at your home, park or other location and explore. Package includes a pre-session consultation, 60 minute session and about 50 images. MON- THU $555 plus tax, FRI-SUN $755 plus tax

On Campus- Works for one location. In 30 minutes, we'll have time to create images with and without cap & gown using the landmark and adjacent areas. Expect to receive about 40 images. Mon-Thu ($350), Fri-Sun ($550) Want to share with a friend? Add $50 per person. (+ 15 minutes to session time).

On Campus session - In one hour, we can create portraits in 2 locations with candids along the way. Fee includes the session and all images delivered electronically as high resolution JPEGs. Expect to receive about 70 images. MON-THU ($550), FRI-SUN ($750) Want to share with a friend? Add $50 per person. (+20 minutes overall session time)
